Welcome to Traverse City State Bank

TCSB HISTORY

Traverse City State Bank, a Michigan banking corporation, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TCSB Bancorp, Inc. Founded in 2000 by local bankers and investors, it marked the revival of the name “Traverse City State Bank,” which had served the community for well over a century (1860s to 1980s). The Bank’s main office and first branch opened in downtown Traverse City on July 6, 2000. The bank grew to five full service branches (Downtown, Garfield, Copper Ridge, Suttons Bay and Acme).

TCSB LOGO

Traverse City State BankTraverse City State Bank’s traditional logo is a cherry leaf. The logo not only represents our location in the heart of cherry country, but symbolizes our vision for strong and steady growth…it reminds people of the heritage of this area. It also reminds us, just like the cherry leaf, that we will remain agile in order to respond to every changing financial environment. For generations, the Grand Traverse Region has been famous for its cherries. The cherry leaf is symbolic of the promise of spring and prosperity. Like the promise of spring, we hold the promise of offering a different type of banking experience…an experience where you can Thrive Here!
